Unloop created the holographic visuals displayed throughout the store and the interactivity to try any model in augmented reality.
Optivisão

With 267 points of sale, the Optivisão group is the largest optician network in Portugal.
In 2021, Optivisão launched its pilot phygital store, located in Arrábida Shopping, in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
The optics of the future, Optivisão+, is a space defined by its high-tech concept, fully equipped with the latest technology and interactive solutions, focused on innovation, personalized experience, and the visual health of its customers.

Briefing

Due to the high-tech concept of the store we were challenged to create innovative solutions to provide the visitors of the store with an exceptional interactive experience.
Likewise, we developed different solutions with eye-catching visual representation highlighting the innovative concept of the store, creating an appealing atmosphere, and providing the public with visual health information.

Projection on storefront entrance

The projection of the videos on the storefront entrance was aimed to capture the attention of the visitors of the shopping and inform them about the most common eye diseases, symptoms, and best practices to care about visual health. Likewise, inviting people to visit the store through the use of appealing visual and interesting content.

Inspired by futuristic aesthetics the animation of the eye was built based on common diseases (Cataracts, AMD, Glaucoma, Retinopathy, etc.) depicted within the eyeball.
The videos are aimed to provide useful information about the disease: symptoms, statistics, and good practices.

Stretch Screen / QR code interaction

An interactive solution for a stretch screen was developed in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, the solution provides the visitors with an interactive experience, avoiding physical contact. The QR code interaction enables the visitor to control the screen with a personal mobile phone and choose which content is shown on the screen. Situated right in the entrance to the Optivisão+ store, the solution aims to catch the visitors' attention and invite them to visit the store through the use of appealing visual and interesting content.

INTERACTION

1. The QR code is scanned.
2. The user can manipulate the content appearing on the screen via WebApp.
3. After selection, a short infographic video is being presented.

The goal is to entertain the visitors straight from the entrance, communicate promotions, provide the visitors with useful information about visual health and good practices.

Try-On Mirror / Augmented Reality

Make it easy to choose your new glasses and try them on virtually in one touch. You can see how various shapes of glasses look on your face virtually, at any angle through augmented reality. The app allows you to browse through hundreds of models of glasses and refine search by shape, brand, or color, likewise letting you discover those that suit best for your face shape. Last, but not least, the user is able to take a selfie and save the favorite models for further purchase.

Landing Page

In order to promote and distinguish the new phygital store virtually, we developed a landing page of the store, Optivisão+. Representing the high-tech concept of the store, the landing page transmits the focus of the company on innovation, personalized experience, and the visual health of its customers. Likewise, the visitor of the page can find out information about the equipment and the services of the store, schedule exams, and much more.

Promotional Video

Within the launch of the phygital store Optivisão+, a promotional video was produced. It highlights exceptional design, cutting-edge technology, and the interactive solutions of the space.
