The 23d edition of Expocosmética brought together more than 200 exhibitors and presented upcoming trends for the sector.
About

Expocosmética is the biggest beauty event in the Iberian Peninsula. Annually it becomes a platform for diverse activities, demonstrations, showcases, and fashion shows, bringing together professionals of cosmetics, aesthetics, and beauty industries. During the exposition, the visitors are able to discover new trends, the use of modern equipment and innovative techniques for personalized solutions. Likewise, on the 23d edition of Expocosmética, we have presented an augmented reality make-up and performance solutions.

Generative Videowall

To engage the passing person we presented a 3x3 video wall with visual effects based on displacements maps and the illusion of depth, a thematic very trendy in digital arts and culture.

Wind blowing

When visitors approached the stand, we had an interactive peach tree, which was mirrored by it's digital twin. When a visitor would blow in the physical tree's flower, the background video would react, showing the flowers being blown by the window.

This type of multisensorial installation, contributed towards a more memorable experience, making the visitor an active participant of the art. Our goal was showcasing our work with 3D, VFX and digital arts, and we figured that this installation would follow one of the trends seen in fashion, of connecting nature and the digital.

Make Up Mirror

The main attraction of our stand was an interactive mirror in which the visitor could see himself in augmented reality and different makeups would be applied to him with facial tracking. This installation gave a sense of what the future of technology applied to this sector would look like and allowed to us to reach multiple brands interested in this kind of augmented reality technology.
